@9ick Photoshoot

Nick, or @9ick, is a talented lo-fi music producer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has a unique personality that invites you to be his friend; he is a friend-magnet, and there's no doubt about it.

For this, I used a slow shutter speed and the flash while rotating the camera.

One of our mutual friends, Eddie / @Jazzinuf, wanted to eat tacos, so I met Nick for the first time at a taco place in my neighborhood. He was visiting New York for the first time for a month. I knew immediately we would get along because we both love tacos, which is a deal-breaker for me… who doesn't love tacos???

Imagine he is holding a taco.

For this shoot, we wanted to get an iconic spot in the city, and we went to Tribeca so he could see one of these streets that has a bridge between buildings, one of the few around NYC.

I used the sony 35mm f/1.4 for most of this shoot.

I think this picture in particular is a banger, or how Nick would say… “sexy”.  He even put it as a profile picture on Spotify and Insta haha. <3

We shot around Tribeca, and eventually, we moved to Canal Street, which is very iconic. We ended up getting this shot with the sunset in the background!.

When it comes to shooting people, somehow, the pictures always become what I interpret as their personalities. They have their own unique style, angles, textures, and colors.

Thank you, Nick, for such a great hang; let's do it again brother. :)
